Chris Nelson

Chris is a video games academic and developer and has lectured in Game Design and Development for over 17 years. During this time he has presented at academic conferences around the world and published papers in international journals including Leonardo. His research and art games have been exhibited at the Banff Centre in Canada and the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney. He also has a Research Masters in Arts (Fine Art). Chris runs his own independent game studio, Taigha Games, and has published a number of titles on iOS and Android platforms in the past, with a PC based psychological horror game currently in the pipeline. He has worked as a programmer in a previous life and can pretty competently navigate his way around most ‘C’ based languages when he needs to. Chris' research is focussed upon developing a conceptual design model to assist game designers and development teams to successfully produce compelling games within budget and on time.

Player Experiences
