Chris is a seasoned video games academic and developer with over 20 years of experience lecturing in Game Design and Development. Throughout his career, he has shared his expertise at international academic conferences and contributed to leading journals with his published research. His innovative art games and research projects have been showcased at prestigious venues such as the Banff Centre in Canada and the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney. Holding a Research Masters in Fine Art, Chris blends artistic vision with technical skill to create compelling interactive experiences. As the founder of Taigha Games, an independent game studio, Chris has developed and published titles across various platforms. He is currently working on a psychological horror game for PC, demonstrating his passion for pushing creative boundaries. With a background as a programmer, he remains proficient in navigating most C-based programming languages when needed. Chris is also completing a PhD in Game Design at Deakin University, further cementing his status as an expert in the field. Beyond his professional achievements, Chris has been a member of the Bahá'í Faith for over 30 years. His deep appreciation for the mystical traditions that unite all religions profoundly influences his creative work, infusing it with themes of connection and spirituality.
